Activities for children
In the Children’s Zoo you may ride a pony, visit the African Pygmy goats or get close to snakes, rabbits and other animals in the Zoo Stage. The Rabbit Playground is open all year. Every day at 3.20 p.m. you can watch the cow being milked.
Have your birthday in the Zoo
Detective in the Zoo (4-9 years)
Let your child have a birthday celebration in the Zoo which is fun and educational. A mystery must be solved – the child celebrating a birthday and the friends are all detectives. Follow a trace through the Zoo - a treasure hunt map will show the way – find the involved animals, watch them and solve the mystery.
Prices:
March to October DKK 120 per child
November to February DK 90 per child
Incl. of treasure hunt, entrance, small juice carton and a small present.
Adults: normal entrance fee or annual pass.
No minimum number of participants
1½ hour - you can stay in the Zoo till closing time
Any day all year round.

Creepy crawlies (6-12 years)
The kids get quite close to the reptiles, insects, mammals and amphibians. They hear about the animals' way of living, find characteristics, feed and look at furs and sculls. After this you are on your own ant the kids go treasure hunting in order to find the secret animal - there are presents for everybody.
Prices:
March to October DKK 150 kr. per child - min. DKK 1.500
November to February DKK 120 kr. per child - min. DKK 1.200
Incl. of entrance and present.
Adults: Usual entrance price or annual pass.
Max. number of participants 24 children and 5 adults.
Approx. 1 hour in the Biological Workshop and hereafter the treasure hunt

Zoo keeper (8-14 years)
The kids work as Zoo keepers with the South American animals - the guanaco, the mara, the capybara and the nandu. They clean, feed, activate and get an impression of what it is like to be a Zoo keeper. The day is ended in the Tropical Zoo - here the kids get an idea of what is on the birds' and the reptiles' menu.

November to February DKK 140 per child - min. DKK 1.400
Adults: Usual entrance price or annual pass.
Max. number of participants 15 children and min. 2 adults.
1½ hour
At 10.30 a.m. on weekends or holidays.

Kindly note that birthday reservations have to be made in good time!
The meeting spot regarding all versions is the gate at the main entrance - you enter together and go the relevant places (is stated in the written confirmations).
Balloons are not allowed in the Zoo!
There are no special decorations - the animals make the frame.
